A Little About Melty

What's with the name?

What's with the name?

The short answer: I wanted to immediately convey that I don't take myself too seriously or run decisions by a board of directors. Melty seemed to send that message.

The long answer:

Because the digital world is rigid enough. Melty represents the transition from static to kinetic. It’s about removing the hard edges to build things that are more human, not less.

I also like the idea that the strongest materials are made by melting different elements together. Balance, sustainability, and integration of many perspectives is what I believe leads to lasting impact.

By bringing together strategy, creativity, and technical precision I strive to transmute experiences that reflect the awesome humans who power them.

Who are you?

Hey, I'm Joshua Reddekopp.

I like to say my journey has been long, so yours can be short. After a decade designing apps in the tech world, I traded the corporate desk for Melty. Since 2025, I've been helping rockstar Canadian businesses turn heads with clean code, killer visuals, and the brand strategy to back it all up.

Thanks for taking an interest in my work!
